Wood is a classic staple in every home. The use of wood for home decor will never go out of style. In fact, there is greater demand for wood furniture and home decor.
This must be because of the popularity of Zen-inspired homes. Creating a Zen interior means keeping decorations to a minimum. There is less clutter and the style is sleek and straight. Unlike contemporary minimalism designs that make use of plastic accents, Zen relies mostly on wood. Accents are also kept to a minimum. They can be as simple as wooden candleholders or a mirror without intricate carvings and designs.
